One sunny day it was really hot. I was so hot that even the pool water was steaming. We decided to go to my grandma’s house because she has an air conditioner. It was just so hot! I could barely stand it. We decided to leave and not stay one second longer.
So, we went back to my house and we saw my dog swimming in my small plastic pool. I guess she was hot too. She looked so funny. She was all wet and looked skinnier than a flag pole.
On this very hot day, we decided to go to Bakersfield. My favorite Tio lives there and he has a real big pool. When we got to his house we went into the pool right away. The water was so hot from the heat that my sister, my brother, and I wanted to get out right away. We began looking for my Tio so we can take a cold shower instead. When we saw him he had ice cream. He had a bunch of ice cream. We ate, ate, ate, ate, and ate. My Tio said, “Don’t eat it all today! Save some for tomorrow.” But we didn’t listen. That was the hottest day ever. At least I had a lot of ice cream and fun to pass this extremely hot day.
